FAQ

WHEN IS MY PAYMENT DUE?

When the date, time, and location are confirmed during booking. Secure payments are made through SquareUp, making transactions simple and hassle-free.

HOW ARE IMAGES DELIVERED?

I deliver all photos via DropBox. All individual files are labeled with the address of the property and may be shared from any device. They also include zip folders to download all photos at once from a desktop computer.

All images are formatted to JPEGs sized at 2000 pixels on longest side and 300dpi for top quality; alternative sizes & file formats are available on request.

Please note: raw files will not be delivered. Images will be available for download for up to one year. It’s important to save your images immediately, but I keep cloud storage backups in case your files go missing.

HOW FAR WILL I TRAVEL?

It is an absolute pleasure of mine to take photos in the Pacific Northwest and I am open to traveling free up to 30 miles from my home office in Beaverton. Beyond there I charge $30 every 30 miles as a compensation for my time on top of the overall bill.

CANCELATION POLICY?

I understand this is a fast-paced world, and unexpected things can happen. Please try to reach out for rescheduling or cancelations at least 24 hours before scheduled shoot.

If appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours from the scheduled time, I’ll refund your payment minus a 25% cancellation fee.

*NOTE: This policy does not apply to bad weather conditions or natural disasters. I work with my clients to reschedule at the next available opportunity at no additional cost.

WHO OWNS THE RIGHTS TO THE PHOTOS?

Daniel Barrett Photography retains copyright to the images unless special arrangements are made and additional licensing fees are paid.

Only the original client is licensed to use the images, and that license is non-transferable. For real estate, if the client is a homeowner and later decides to hire an agent, that agent would need to re-license the images to use them. Agents may not transfer the license of images to another listing agent without relicense fees.
