• 0 - 2,000 sq ft: 20-30 photos

• 2,001 - 4,000 sq ft: 25-40 photos

Is my property shoot ready?

Please note that the property should be photo-ready at the time of your appointment. This includes turning on every light and opening every set of blinds or curtains in the windows to gather the most light, clearing the driveway of any cars or unwanted items for the photos (clearing “unwanted items” inside the property is huge too). In the rare circumstance that the property is not presentable at the coordinated time of shoot, or access to the property is delayed, an additional fee applies.

Standard policy for the industry is:

+25% for up to an hour wait

+50% for over an hour wait

I reserve the exclusive right to cancel the shoot after one hour or more of waiting. Late or cancelation fees will need to be paid in full before a new date can be scheduled.

HOW ARE IMAGES DELIVERED?

I deliver all photos via DropBox. All individual files are labeled with the address of the property and may be shared from any device. They also include zip folders to download all photos at once from a desktop computer.

All images are formatted for MLS usage, including JPEGs sized at 2500 pixels on longest side and 300dpi for top quality; alternative sizes & file formats are available upon request.

Please note: raw files will not be delivered.

Images will be available for download for up to 30 days. It’s important to save your images immediately. If the images are lost, I save backups on external hard drives for up to 1 year. Please be responsible in how you store your images.

How far will i travel?

It is an absolute pleasure of mine to take photos for you and I am open to traveling. For locations over 30 miles from my home office in Beaverton, I charge $30 per 30 miles of driving on top of the overall bill.

When is my payment due?

When the date, time, and location are confirmed during booking. Secure payments are made through Square, making transactions simple and hassle-free.

Cancelation policy?

I understand this is a fast-paced world, things happen. Please try to reach out to reschedule or cancel 24 hours before scheduled shoot to receive a full refund.

If appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours from the scheduled time, I’ll refund your payment minus a 50% cancellation fee. *NOTE: This policy does not apply to bad weather conditions. I work with my clients to reschedule at the next available opportunity at no additional cost.

WHO OWNS THE RIGHTS TO THE PHOTOS?

Daniel Barrett Photography retains copyright to the images unless special arrangements are made and additional licensing fees are paid.

My prices do NOT include anything more than MLS usage licensing, and related social media. The Client will have the rights to reprint all images furnished in unlimited media (print, web, video, e-mail) to market the property in any manner for one year or until the property closes, whichever comes first. After that period, images must be relicensed or a new shoot ordered.

Only the original client is licensed to use the images, and that license is non-transferable. If the client is a homeowner and later decides to hire an agent, that agent would need to re-license the images to use them. Agents may not transfer the license of images to another listing agent without relicense fees.

If, after a property sells, you would like to continue using images on your website or promotional materials, please contact me beforehand. I’m likely to say yes and any photo credit is appreciated.
